The UPS is a type of uninterruptible power supply with an energy storage device and an inverter as its main component for constant voltage and frequency. When the power input from the public grid is normal, the UPS regulates the power from the public grid and then supplies it to the loads. At this point, the UPS acts as a regulator for the public AC grid, while also charging the batteries inside the machine.
When the utility power is interrupted (accidental power outage), the UPS immediately supplies power from the battery, through the inverter conversion method to the load to continue supplying 220V AC power, so that the load can maintain normal operation and protect the load software and hardware from damage, and data can be saved. UPS devices typically provide protection against overvoltage and undervoltage.
